24th April 2008 A fresh start....

It's all change for us this year as we have taken the decision to scale the business back a little in order to give us a chance to pursue some different challenges.
We will no longer be trading as folkydokee handmade but we will still be collaborating under the new name of 'Alice and Ginny.

You will still be able to purchase our products via this website and at notonthehighstreet.com. Some items have an online payment facility but please do drop us an email if you are interested in anything else that doesn't.

We are also delighted to let you know that our first book is almost finished and is being published by David and Charles, due out in September 2008.

'Sew Fabulous Fabric' is a unique collection of homestyle sewing projects combining new and recycled fabrics for vintage, homespun and retro results. We hope you will enjoy it as much as we have enjoyed creating it.
