About us
'Alice and Ginny' is the collaboration of designer makers and long time friends Alice Butcher and Ginny Farquhar, who previously worked together as 'folkydokee handmade'.
Alice and Ginny bring together their skills in textile design, pattern cutting, appliqué, embroidery and beading to create a variety of original, collectable, and practical gifts.
Alice comes from a textile background and previously co-ordinated the prestigious sewing school and later a quarterly sewing publication at Liberty of London.
Ginny has worked extensively in the theatre, dance and in higher education as a costume supervisor, designer, tutor and maker.
All items are individually designed which in this world of mass production, is a breath of fresh air.
All vary, use recycled fabrics and are handmade with care and attention to detail.
